Wow excellent. I never ran across those. Red is actually what I was going to go with too.
I'm picking up my red 09 JKUR tomorrow. So excited.

I've always liked the PC 3036. Unfortunately, most PC wheels are on national backorder with no ETA, so they may be hard to come by. Since you like the MT with colored lock rings, I would recommend looking into the ION 171. They come in 15" and have been reported to fit the JK without any issue. Here is a pic. Keep in mind that the lock rings can be had in different colors or you can have them powdercoated.

I like the Mickey Thompson Classic Locks withe colored lock rings. I also like the Pro Comp 3036 series.
I'm not really interested with going with blacks wheels and I like the fake beadlock look that the two above have.
I've spent a few nights now trying to find something in a 15 or 16 to try to same money on tires but I'm picky and haven't found anything. I also have a bad habit of spending more money than I should on things to get exactly what I'm looking for. Bargain shopping is not my forte unfortunately.

Never mind, I think I talked myself out of this anyways. I did a little more research and saw that running 15" wheels resulted in lower backspacing than what I wanted once the adapters were taken into account. It wasn't as low with the 16s but still lower that I wanted to go, plus the difference in tire/wheel price with KM2s compared to the 17s was only about $100-$150 bucks.
I wish I liked more wheel styles. There are only 2 or 3 types I like and they all happen to only come in 17".

Wheel Adapter Question
I am new to the jeep/offroad scene and have a question about wheel adapters.
Do wheel adapters that change the bolt pattern from 5x5 to 5x4.5 add any more stress than a typical 5x5 wheel spacer would add?
I was originally looking at 17" wheels for my 09 JKUR but really want to go the cheaper route with 15s or 16s. The wheels I really want are the Mickey Thompson Classics with the fake colored bead locks (not Classic 2s). This only comes in a 17" size for a 5x5 bolt pattern. I came across the adapters which would allow me to use the smaller rim sizes that are made for older jeeps.
Any help is appreciated.
