dalearyous 2) Visit www.chrysleraffiliates.com or call (888) 444-4321 to learn more about the program and to obtain your Control Number. You’ll need the Tread Lightly! Company Code, which you will receive in your Tread Lightly! membership letter upon joining or renewing (The membership letter will be in your membership packet which is mailed out each Friday).**

yep! sorry for the post

They only mail out packets on Friday. I got mine or a Tuesday or Wednesday the week after I joined.

Well, I guess the question still stands, but with the 30 day requirement it won't matter unless my Jeep is really late. =/
Rubicons are all taking longer than other types so it'll probably take longer than 30 days, but from what I've seen most dealers don't enforce the 30 days so you'll be good anyway.

Second, I did the same thing as you. Ordered then found out about TL. I just called the salesman and asked if I could use it when I take delivery (hasn't happened yet but hopefully soon). He was willing to work with me on it. Best thing to do is just call.

2.) Take your Control Number, along with the
letter you received in your membership
package to any U.S. Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge
dealership
On that pdf link it says you need both to prove you are a member, both are on your membership letter. That's how I just bought my sport and they needed the letter.

Whoa, I doubt the TL people I've talked to don't know about that! The number is supposed to be completely confidential and is normally well guarded. But, you are right and I was wrong. Thanks for pointing that out! I would guess that if TL people notice that, they'll take it down!

It definitely is a requirement. I've never heard of it being enforced. The dealer wants to sell the vehicle and get his 2% kick-back from Jeep.

Weiss I didn't order until this week so I'll be waiting another week.

Bsears155 When did you join TL? They only send out packets on Friday (according to the website). I lucked out and ordered on a Thursday. Had my member packet the next Tuesday.

Now I just need my Jeep to come in.

Makes sense - if there was a way to speed it up I was interested but I've waited 30 years to buy my second Jeep so I can probably manage a few more days

IIrc the $60 goes to TL for their 3 year membership. TL gets the $60. The $75 is the documentation fee that the dealer is allowed to charge you when utilizing the TL program. The selling dealer gets the $75.

RockTrout Just purchased a new JKU yesterday with the TL program. It was a painless experience and well worth the $60 membership investment.

The code is on your membership letter. You must have that letter to use the discount at the dealer, so, you need to get in touch with TL somehow

stevebanzai anyone know if the goodyear rebate is renewed?

JKatfish Told the dealer that with the TL discount, i can get the 1% under invoice from any dealer i walk into and if he would offer 2% under i would do the deal and order my Jeep from them. If they had stock of what I wanted, I'm sure I could have gotten another 1-2% off, but it was worth the $60 memembership.
