Yes, its under warranty and going in tomorrow >>

When I made the appt, I asked the service rep if he was familiar with the term, DW, not wanting to go into a whole explanation but fortunately or unfortunately, they are familiar with the problem. Hopefully they find something to fix!

Jonny15 It's death wobble!! I had the exact same problem in my old zj, sometimes i would hit a bump in the road and it would shake so violently that you had to slow down to almost a complete stop before it went away and it was almost impossible to steer. It usually happened while i was turning and hitting the bump at the same time too.

Take it back to the dealer and have them check it over cause a number of things cause death wobble. Make sure you get it fixed too cause not only is it very dangerous but when it shakes like that all the front end components get stressed.

That's very odd that you have death wobble on such a new vehicle, especially seeing as its stock. Is it under warranty?

George T. maybe the pothole knocked a weight off the tire. but that wouldnt explain why it went away.

Severe vibration in a turn hitting pothole>>

I have an 07 Wrangler (approx 10K miles) and have experienced this twice before though less severe. Last night in a left hand bending freeway on ramp, I hit a bump/pothole, going approx 50 MPH and the jeep began to vibrate/shake violently. I had to slow down to almost a stop before the vibration passed and I was able to proceed. In the vibration, the jeep was shaking so severe, it was even difficult to steer it off the road. Very scary! Anyone experienced this? Any suggestions?
