|Casotakar1229||what I do if it's cooler outside before putting the top on is I will push the entire soft top forward (rear window and all), then I hook the front latches on and that gap you see will be closed fully. then I pull the soft top all the way down to the back and proceed to finish the rest up. hope that helps.|

|Another Guy In A Jeep||Soft tops take a little of of a hassle. I doubt it'll leak though. Only way to find out is to wait for it to rain. Or if ur unordinarily zealous, you could hit that questionable spot with ur hose|

first time owner questions
Tried to find a thread to post this in with questions from other new owners. This is my first wrangler and I love it so far. Took the top off a couple weeks ago and was able to drive without top and doors for two weeks! Unfortunately I have to drive it tomorrow and the forecast is rain. I put the top up for the first time and want to make sure I didn't screw it up.
I don't remember what it looked like before I removed the top so I was hoping someone to look at this and tell me if it appears okay. I'm not going to lose my shit of a few leaks, but would like to avoid causing them.
Where the top meets the windshield and door there's a little hole. It has foam inside, but seemed a little odd. Also where it meets the windshield it's got a lot of rubber. Seems okay inside though.
Thanks for taking a look. Worst case I'll find out if it leaks tomorrow.
