I can't stand my 1/4" steel RH bumper. It's way too protective versus the AEV 3/16" one.

To OP, they sell ends for this bumper for mid or full width.. For what I'm asking you can pick up an end kit and still be ahead..

cavsvet74 I have been starting to look for an actual winch bumper.
Lately I've been leaning towards this:http://www.wranglerforum.com/f33/mop...t=mopar+bumper

Which Front Bumper?

I'll soon be adding a winch to my 2012 JK 2-dr, but I'm trying to decide on a bumper. I see photos that I like, but it's not always possible to ID the maker. beyond the two or three biggest players.

I'd like a full-width one -- not one that ends at the frame -- and I've got stock fenders. I'm running a three-inch lift with 33-inch tires. I like the idea of retaining the stock driving lights, but that's not critical. I do want to be able to see the winch spool and cable windings, at least a little bit, through something other than the fairlead.

Suggestions? Photos? Links? I like the Lift Kit Review sticky. I could use one for this topic.

Also, rock rails. I'm doing that next.

Dan
