Lots of snow here! Oh yeah...he did. So a knock at the door to say...I did your driveway oh ...and this came off (handing me the windshield bumper off the hood) when I tried to clear the snow and ice off your jeep. :0 Oh...how did that happen? Well when I was SHOVELING it....blah blah blah....I cudn't hear what he was saying anymore. Unreal.

Slippin and slidin in mud sounds fun! I totally share the 'everything freezing' agony. ...to top it off...a neighbor trying to be helpful...shoveled my driveway. ...then decided it'd be a good idea to de-ice the hood of my jeep ...with the SHOVEL!!! Really now...who does that!!???

hbgirl Haha, nice decal! My Jeep is so dirty, I gotta get her cleaned up, but it's so cold and windy up here in DFW. Hubby heads back to SA today though, and I'll be down there next weekend; hopefully that nice weather will last until then.

shell Beautiful day today! Washed and waxed the Jeep and put some new decals on. My husband combined my love of pirates and beagles. This was the result.

x42 ... and my husband "benefits" also; he says I'm so easy to buy for.

It's the Just Empty Every Pocket affliction, or like having another dependent. Too bad I can't claim her on my taxes ...

That's why you create a wish list on Quadratec. If you have the gene it becomes an addiction.

I'm in Irving, so it's not *too* far from the Ballpark. I'm there on a bi-weekly basis almost during baseball season, and I still have yet to find a decent way to get there for a weeknight game; 360 is horrible starting from 4p-on. When we retire, we are moving somewhere there aren't traffic issues. Even if that means I have to drive an hour just to get to "town" for a Target and a gas station.
I don't know where you would move to....everything is going "north". I remember when Plano was out in the boonies - you drove for miles and miles - there were no developments, no businesses, etc.

I have been looking at a set of Smittybilt Rock Crawler Side Armor - basically steps that retract - love the look of them and of course there is a function to it. Also need to get some entry guards.

The rock crawlers:

Smittybilt Rock Crawler Side Armor 76633 (07-14 Wrangler JK 2 Door) - Free Shipping 76633 - Free Shipping over $75!

Yes, I do want to change the front bumper and I do want to get a winch.

Today I saw a white Rubicon at the car wash and the guy had put about $15K in it. We had a great discussion - he goes to Moab all of the time.

You are so right. However, they won't steal my cover which is what my dh was worried about.

I did want the cover that said "Silly boys - Jeeps are for girls"

The only thing I have done so far is that I ordered a custom wheel cover because my husband was worried that if I got a standard one it would get stolen. Heck - if he pays for it - I don't care. So here is a picture of my spare wheel cover.

We don't travel anymore, my daughter got married and is now living in OR. The horse in the picture is now retired and gives pony rides to children. When we did travel, we took care of our own horses, as you say it's hard to find competent people. Plus, I was a pauper traveling in royalty's world. Sometimes my daughter slept in the tack stall to stay near them. My daughter got so good at braiding that other people would pay her to braid. I loved going to shows, it's a different world and I miss it. I have a 14 month old granddaughter and my daughter is already thinking about lead line classes, lol.

CyndiB Yes, don't worry because you have a stock Jeep, it's brand new, there's not much you can do to it besides cosmetics, or steps, like HBgirl says. My jeep is 23 years old, so it needed a lot of things done to it just to make it safe and reliable. Lifts are primarily done so that bigger tires can be installed. The important thing is that you like the way it looks and drives and it's equipped for what you want to do with it.

So I am guessing you are from Arlington area? Been to the ballpark myself on more than one occasion. My sister lived in Grand Prairie for years.

I used to drive from Addison after work all the way past Allan to get to my horse when I lived in Dallas. That was at least 1.5 hours just to get to the barn. So for me to travel 50 miles (55 min) to get to my horse here - is absolutely nothing - because we don't have traffic issues.

Funny thing the locals think they have traffic issues if the freeway is moving at 55 mph instead of the post 65 mph
