Benjamb If the Jeep is running well I would not worry about it. This era of Jeep used Vac lines to do lots of secondary things related to the emissions etc. If you are having trouble then I would consider converting to a new carb and doing the Nutter bypass. Have fun!

Nubby55 Man, I Nutter-by-passed mine and did away with all that crap, it's never ran better, but check your local laws! Search Nutterbypass for YJ Wrangler 4.2, do it, it works!

Need Vacuum Help

As I was looking over my Jeep today I noticed some vacuum lines not connected . I looked at a vacuum diagram from the web and I am just as confused as before i began. I have a 1990 wrangler 4.2 with 5 speed.

T his hose is unconnected coming off of the back of the air cleaner housing. What does this connect to?

The top right arrow looks like two hoses should be connected. This comes under the air filter housing. The bottom right arrow is looped into itself is this correct.

Thanks for your help in advance!
