|billybobjoe||Your first step should be a safety check with a reliable local mechanic that's familiar with Jeeps. Have him check the frame and the brakes. Safety first. All the little TLC stuff you can do later|

have a better understanding of where it is. when I get a chance I will take a pic of where it is at

|fourty4magjr||As for the floor pan you can replace them or use por15 on them If there is rust holes or the rust is real bad like mine I'd buy the replacement floor pans off amazon for 45 or so for the pair. Just have to have someone weld it in|

you can get a thing of forever black to fix up the fender flare fading. it cost like 10 bucks on quadratec. I put it on mine when I first got it and they still look brand new. here is the link for the forever black. it really works too

Bought a 2000 TJ - need advice
Hey guys, been reading the forums for the past few months and then pulled the trigger on a 2000 TJ.
I'm not the most mechanically inclined and thought to myself what better way to learn than to learn on a Jeep. I've driven Jeeps in the past (a 2005 TJ and a 2008 JK) and loved the feeling so I purchased a used TJ and knew it would need some work.
I've purchased Haynes Repair Manual and I'm going through it to learn how to fix the rear windshield wiper (it doesn't work at all) and the fog lights (the switch has a light which doesn't turn on when the fog lights are on).
She's a rust bucket and I would appreciate tips on how to deal with all of it.
Here she is! I've read (and forgot to bookmark) how to fix the fender flare sun-burnt colour. Also which paint would you guys recommend to touch up the hard-top?
(To make this post not too photo intensive I've only linked a few, the rest are here: https://www.box.com/s/e39e5707230eaa608da7 )
Does anyone know where to get a replacement for this?
There's a hole under the passenger door on the frame:
This is the passenger floor with missing plugs (Jeep dealership 12$ each... anyone know if there's a plastic replacement?)
Any help is greatly appreciated!
EDIT#1: Forgot to mention the AC fan doesn't work on the second setting
