Ok so I have new rear sway bar links and when I went to install them I had a question as to whether or not you can do this incorrectly. I noticed on one side the link is closer to the rear control arm than on the other side. So I can match that if I install it differently than how I took it off.
So I would put the link on the other side of the track bar and that will move it further away from the lower control arm. Looking at the one that wasn't missing the bushing it looks like it was barely rubbing on the lower control arm. If I move it to the outside of the track bar where it connects it will give more clearance. Is this ok?
I mean really, how can I mess this up?

|doolyd||Thanks. I could only find recommendations on replacing the entire link since they are relatively inexpensive. I ordered some Currie Enterprises CE9142 which are extended links. I don't know if they are correct but I couldn't find much online and nobody really replied to my thread here so I just made a judgement call. I will try them and if they don't work I will try something else. They say they are for a 3.5-4.5" lift but I couldn't find exact dimensions any where.|

|Hums99||If it is the rear sway bar links I know that you can buy urethane replacement bushings. I just installed 3 1/4'' RC lift last week and took my rear sway bar completely off and it drives fine. i dont recommend taking front off thats a different story.|

I am not sure these are stock. I have what I think is a 3" lift but I am not sure about that either. The springs are Rusty's offroad which the PO put on and they say 303 on them so I think it is a 3" lift.
I need to know if I need extended sway bar links or not. I have JKS quick discos in the front the PO also put on and I noticed the bushings are shot in those as well.
So for the rear, do I need extended? What I took off are 11 4/16" from end to end--not center of bushing to center of bushing

Part Identification help needed
Can someone tell me what these bushings are called from these photos? It is the rear sway bar link I think but I am not sure. I noticed some strange noise this weekend down on the beach and I thought it was just my new bumper basket so when I got home I took it off and went for a drive. Well it still made the noise so I investigated it a little more and found some bushings are missing. Should I replace anything else, the entire bar or just the bushings? I am pretty sure these are stock so if it make sense to replace them with something a little better I am not opposed to doing that.
