Sandstorm95 I sort of hope they check this year. Any time I go to sore thumb its always packed and barely anyone has rods. That's if erosion left any beach to drive on

Joax23 Can somebody tell me exactly where I have to go to get this permit? And are they open on Saturday to pick it up? The weekends are the only chance I have to make it down there so hopefully they are available this Saturday. A friend of mine told me something about going to the office after the second smaller bridge on Robert Moses. Does this make any sense? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

johngus it is still a fishing permit meaning everyone over 12 needs to have a pole, hooks and bait/lures.just make sure to have the needed equipment listed on the permit.
