I run 33x12.50's on mine( the yellow one) I did not rub at all on full flex when I first put the lift on. Wheeled it this weekend and the front rubbed a whole lot. The blue one has the same 4.25 combo my yellow one has. Notice how it sets in the front. A full 2" higher than the yellow one. That's the way the yellow one set right after the lift. A year later and adding a winch has settled it this far.
Overall a decent lift and rides great. I just wish I had my height back.

|pep314||Ordering a 3" Zone kit this week, and after reading these posts it looks like I'm also going to purchase the adjustable front track bar. Do you think I'll be able to run 33x12.5 on the TJ if I'm doing minimal off-roading?|

|sandro||That was funny. I was pissed jeep broke down, but it starts soooo much better now with optima battery and new starter. Vrrroom. It was easier with all that room under there lol|

"Wont start, need to replace the starter."
"Need a lift to the parts store?"
"No thanks, I already have the new starter."
"Why aren't you putting it in?"
"Oh I'm going to, just waiting on my lift kit to arrive."

|mike3770||lets see some more pics! ive been wanting this kit for a while i just keep letting priorities come first lmao|

|sandro||I just used the kit and drilled new hole for front bar(see pic above). I had posted that I wanted a sye but my vibes are very small not like I can't drive it or anything. I understand every jeep is different so maybe yours will be fine idk sorry. I'm happy though I like this lift and would do it again if I had the choice.|

|Bluejeep19||I'm installing this lift next Saturday. Has anyone had success just using what came in the box? Without adding MML and BL. And not using the adjustable track bar?|
|05-06-2012 12:58 PM|
|sandro||I did. Very slight vibe in driveshaft but not undrivable. I have had several guys drive it that have owned/ worked on jeeps and they all told me it was normal/ nothing to worry about. I find that unacceptable. I am planning on getting sye and new drive shaft or maybe adj. rear control arms?|

|brianwh5||I bought and installed the zone combo 4.25 lift this past week, is anyone experienceing any driveline vibes? I did the BL and MML to hopefully prevent them but I am having a few between 30 and 50 mph. I called Zone and tech support told me to start adding washers to the transfer case skid plate, which I have added 3 and it seems to be getting better. Can I add to many and over compensate?|

I just re drilled a new hole.
On the rear track bar bracket my guy couldn't get one of the bolts in right so we just welded it and with one bolt, welded on 3 sides it's fine. The front was not a problem though.

|sandro||Found an extra benefit yesterday to having the Zone 3 inch lift.....it's easier to replace the starter when you are broke down somewhere. I highly reccomend this lift kit to anyone who has to replace a starter. It makes it a lot easier to climb under the Jeep with the lift kit installed.|

|04-27-2012 01:55 PM|
Alright here it is. I love how it looks and it drives pretty much the exact same as it did pre lift/rims/tires. If anything I would say the ride is a little bit stiffer but not too much difference.

|Westbrook||Got mine back last night and I absolutely love it, I'll post a pic later and give a little more of what I think about it.|

|sandro||thanks for the tip gary2 ! I will try to find some diff fender flares. You read my mind|

|minderbinder3||I have had my Zone 3" lift for about a year now and love it. In my opinion it is the best bang for the $$. I have also installed similar 2.5" Rough Country lifts for friends and the Zone is better quality. I have wheeled along with other similar rigs sporting much more expensive lifts and mine has held strong. I have a 2005 Unlimited so to level the front I also put a 3/4" spacer lift on it. I had to use the tc drop kit but with 33's I still have plenty of clearance. I installed by the instructions and did not an adjustable track bar. I get occasional death wobble and that lets me know that the tires need to be rotated and balanced.|

|Gary2||looks good . you mentioned you didn't want the tires sticking out . Keep an eye out for a set of Rubicon or Sahara OE flares . thet are almost an inch wider than stock TJ flares and look like the OEs . Most of the aftermarket flares are so big they make your tires look small .|

Here is a picture of my 98, has a Zone 4 Inch Lift, running 33X12.50 Duratracs..

O.K. I'm done now. 32 inch bfg mud terrains on 15x7 rim with about 3 1/2 back space? neg 6 backspace they said at discount tire? I'm no expert, but I didn't want tires sticking out so we went with the 15x7 rim, and only 32 inch tires. they only stick out about an inch maybe. They are kinda tall and not too fat with lots of clearance... I like it. No loss of power really I think it drives fine. I DID get the nitro shocks and I like it. It feels solid and not sloppy even though it's higher. This is a good lift for me. I'm not a hard core off roader and I still drive it to work every day. It looks mean and not to big not too small, just right. Drives nice and I ran over a curb at 10 miles an hour, just bounced over it. Hit a speed bump at 15 mph and it felt like a coke can...didn't even know it was there. Tried to jump it off the ground over this hill/curb at work that i have jumped before and gotten airborne at 20 mph, this thing went over it like it was a joke.
I'm happy. I will post again after I take it in the woods.

|JeepandMud||I didn't upgrade to the nitros, didn't hear real good things for them as far as ride quality. So I stuck with the basic hydros.|
