DeepSouthJeeper Only 14000. It's almost in perfect condition. I don't think it's slipping, although I guess it's possible.

Gear problems.

I got my first car ( 06 wrangler 4.0 i6) about a week ago and love it. The only thing that's bothering me is my transmission. When I shift from 1st to 2nd it feels like it doesn't want to go in and makes a sort of grinding noise. It only does this when I go from 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd, never with any other fears. I put the clutch all the way in each time I shift, and shift before 2,000 rpm. My grandpa said it might be the gear synchronizers or something like that. I was just looking for a second opinion.
