I have the Tuffy flip up license plate bracket ...it bolts to the top of your fairlead and swivels up when you need to use the winch.

For those that live in a state that requires a front license plate and that have a winch on their MW3, how are you mounting your front plate? I've temporarily put mine under the bumper using 2 skid plate bolts, folding the top 1" of the plate and adding a bolt hole. It's not the best so I am interested in other idea that don't require drilling the jeep. Thanks!

They told me the exact same thing about ordering one set of the parts needed every week. I asked if I'd be okay until they got them in and they said yeah it won't be a problem. So I'm guessing it's not a big deal in the short run!

|Rico1111||Thanks Viva lol ..like I said I got carried away ..lol but it's pretty simple and even tho I've taken through some trails the paint has held up...I figured that trim would be the first to get scraped off ...but it has held up nicely.|

I showed him the pictures i took and he told me thats not how the lines run. He tried to describe it verbally to me, but he began to sound like the Peanuts teacher (not his fault, i need to "see" these kind of things to fully understand them).
The "Part" is a new transmission coolant line... apparently it's a bit longer and has a different run. why each dealer has to wait 14 days per is beyond me..

i'd at least like to know what part they are replacing, esp since my dealer told me they are being allotted one "part" every 14 days, thus the is currently a 4-month wait. must not be a big deal if they are cool with a 4-6 month waiting list...

I had mine checked this week and they are going to have to replace the parts on that recall. They ordered them and will be replacing them as soon as they come in.

|JaysGolf||Far as I can tell the lines related to the N28 recall are nowhere near each other. The tranny lines run from the radiator left and back, and the power steering lines are on the right, below and behind the washer fluid reservoir.. Maybe they made ours "right" since it's a special ed?? Anyone get this checked out? Am I right?|

In any event, you should be able to get a great deal.

Brand new or with low mileage? I spent $33k on mine and it had 11k miles. I may not have gotten the world's best deal, but it was good enough to get me in the Jeep I wanted. All depends on how badly you want one.

|FingerTight||Hi all, really enjoyed reading this thread! I'm looking at some leftover 2012s in the area...what should I expect deal wise? I'm assuming that, with the 2014 models coming in the dealer should be eager to give these away|

Back In The Game, posted on another thread:
Although I do enjoy my 12JKUR MW3 but I must agree with the OP. Head issues, air in the coolant system, bad throw out bearings, weird manual transmission sounds, and on and on. Chrysler really does need to step up their attention to detail.
I hope you personally aren't having all these problems, with your 2012 COD MW3.
