yeah, call to find out what the extra $18 is for. I'm sure they won't have a clue.
for the bikini you have to have a special header that has nothing to do with what top you have. The bikini can utilize the surrounds used with the soft top (like in the pic from your link) or can just be wrapped around the cross bars - which will work either way, regardless of what top you have. The duster and jammer are also completely independent of what type of top you have. About the only thing I can think of is one of the kits includes the header and the other does not - but again, that has nothing do with what top you currently have.

|debruins||my guess is you will need some extra hardware if you have a hard top, easiest way to find out would be to call quadratec ask the difference then see if you have the one extra part that comes with the hardtop one|

Well, I was looking at the bikini top and duster cover also, and they ask for the same thing on either one of the parts as well. Here is a link to it...check out the description. One says for factory soft top, the other is for factory hard top.....confusing?

This is often made more confusing that it really should be. What they are typically referencing is whether or not you have 1/2 or full doors and whether or not you have the door surrounds, and what year.
What your jeep came with from the factory is immaterial.
All you need to know is:
1) full or 1/2 doors
2) 97-02 or 03-06 and
3) whether or not you have OEM soft top hardware (bows) or aftermarket (like Bestop
Supertop). That's all.

|07JeepXK||As far as i know any soft top for a 2004 Wrangler should fit on your jeep. Some hard top wranglers come with the soft top option also!|

Factory softtop or factory hardtop....which one??
I am looking to buy a soft top for my 2004 jeep. When I go to look at the soft tops online, the description usually states that they are made to either fit a Wrangler with factory softtop or factory hardtop. My question is: how am I supposed to tell if my jeep came with a hardtop from the factory or a softtop from the factory. I bought it with only a hardtop, but I'm not the original owner. Suggestions please.
