Master4th I dont know if they make them, might be worth it to see if they make a TH350 adapter kit and go with one of those. TH350s are plentiful and would be bullet proof behind a little 2.5.

I would call Advanced Adapters, they would be more than happy to tell you the best options as well as what trans would be an easy swap.

ax-5 to auto tranny swap.

I have a 95 yj with the ax-5. The tranny is about to die. 140k miles. I have replaced 2 clutches due to the input shaft seal leaking oil onto clutch. I have had the input shaft seal done 2 times as well. I belive a bearing is going out and the shaft is wobbling? It makes noise at idle with clutch engaged. . .anyways. Ive aalways hated 4 wheeling with that 5 speed. And I want an automatic. I've done some reaserch and can't find much on the swap. I've found that they used a 30rh and tf-999 behind the 2.5 liter engines? If anyone has any info on what is needed I would greatly appriciate it. This is is mainly for going 4 wheeling once a week.. I know I will need a new computer. And possible radiator. I'm wondering if I can put the shifter were the 5 speed stick is now? And what is the best tranny to get. I want to be able to keep My np231 if possible.
