|Triple88a||yes thats normal, thats the reason why you're suppose to loosen the cap when you're doing your brakes.|

|Gilez||I just replaced my front brakes and rotors, and while I was compressing the piston in the caliper it leaked brake fluid out through the cap on the fluid fill. There was clearly too much fluid in the container, but I wonder if it should leak out like that. I guess the extra fluid has to go somewhere. Anyone else experience any thing like this??|

|AzTJ||Especially if you are out on a trail and have to hold the brakes on a descend... you don't want a rubber line exploding.|

I think if there is a mechanical improvement as a result of the stainless lines it is probably worth doing since it is really not that hard to do. The other ideas are certainly useful and interesting if you did not care about the loss of fade.

im about 4.5 inches on the front of my sport...
you see this bracket?
i just removed the torx bolt... made a extension bracket to lower the mount about 2 inches and i have never had a brake line problem...with the stock lines.
just my 2 cents

Dont forget to bleed them (step 14).. thats about it. Use new copper crush washer.

Longer Brake Line Install Enquiry
I am planning on replacing my brake line when I do my lift, and I have checked out this site (http://www.4x4xplor.com/TJ-brakelines.html). It looks like a good write up. Does any one have any other words of wisdom or tricks of the trade that should be considered with this project. It looks like it could be a messy job.
