Just run typical pressure for rocky hard pack; some mud but not deep. Traction wasn't really an issue; more like clearance and underside armor. I scraped a lot. It's a fun road but kinda short. Didn't explore all the offshoots but I have read conflicting information about what is private property.

BBQJeep There are camp spots all over on the way up the trail as well as at the top near the AT. Don't know about pressure.

Tjdude08 You don't want to go to nelson. When you get to Amherst get off the exit that takes you to mc donalds

Go straight across the traffic circle

If you have gps look up coordinates

Its not 20 mins off 29 maybe 30. But its not far

BBQJeep Look on Google maps. Its at the end of perkins mill rd in Nelson county. Shoe creek is an actual creek that flows south from the mountain called the priest. The trail parallels the creek.
