Mattiday Yes. And I slightly remember going off a highway onto a dirt road heading downward with a posted speed limit. That's how we got on. It was a pretty thick forest in the valley but then opened up to farmland. We drove through that and there was a muddy part with a high dirt wall with some houses siting a good distance away from it. We passed a bridge once we got off of the farm land. I I posted some clips would you be able to recognize the terrain? And landmarks?

AV8R I'm familiar with the area... Was is a forestry road?

The army does all sorts of training in the forest... Especially Hawk mountain.

I need help finding a specific location. Somewhere in between Dahlonaga and Suches.

Hey y'all i'm trying to find a trail that had a mountain right next to it that had several pull offs into some meadows. but specifically i'm looking for a mountain that has most of the trees cut down. you could park your car on the side of the trail to walk upthe side of it. also if this is any help while getting there we were stopped by army ranger training. the road was pretty simple and i have video of it. i just can't find any road signs. ill post some of the clips when i get home. also you drove through alot of farm land to get to it.. you don't have to. but thats how we did it. I don't really remember what town we were near or what road we got on. but i seem to remeber it was near suches and that we were aiming for nimble will gap. also we the road followed a river for some time. this part of the trail had a lot's of camp grounds on the side of it and. also at the very top of the trail it had a choice of three roads. one lead to a open area tha tlooked like it was for dirtbikes which then ended in a very narrow road that looked impassable that connected to the road we wanted. Another road was a dead end and the third road which was reletively smooth. it was a fairly level dirt road that alot of carscould drive on. We saw a mini on the way down. i remeber also when it was trying to lead us down we got lost in a fairly large mountain community. nothing special, but large for its location maybe 10-12 houses. I REALLY NEED Y'ALL'S HELP. Again ill post some clips up of key features. Thanks again y'all.
