Welcome to the Forum
Being in New York, make sure to check under carpet in the foot wells for rust. Also check under fenders, rocker panels and frame. Test drive it at higher speeds (55 to 70) to catch any suspension issues. Make sure that the 4WH and 4WL function properly.

|Sasquatch 4x4||hmm. i'm no tj owner but you always want to check around the shackle mounts and get up underneath looking for rot spots. seems like a fairly decent price though.|

Buying my first Wrangler :D
Hey guys, I've owned an XJ for a few years but always wanted a TJ. Well, for my birthday I'm trading it in and getting a Wrangler.
I have my eyes on a few, but right now I'm looking at a 2001 Sahara with 125,000 miles on it (4.0 I6 of course) with what appears to be am immaculate body.
Dealer is asking $9,000 for it, at this price are there any issues I should be looking for? What are common TJ problems? (any rot spots to look for etc). ANY advice about things to look for would be great.
