What should I look for when i take off the cover... basically what is the mechanics of the horn?
This really bugs me that it quit working...

|Triple88a||An air bag can deploy with shock too so treat it very carefully when/if you take it out. Make sure the front of the steering wheel is pointing upward not down. Just in case it deploys on accident, it doenst go flying.|

|estill8||if you disconnect the battery and make sure you have no cell phone or any other type of product that has a battery in it that could back feed the electrical system including a power cap for a car stereo. and leave it set for at least 5 mins 10mins better you will have no problem disconecting the airbag from the the wheel on thing that could happen is when you reassemble you might get a airbag code. remember Nothing plug in to the cig lighter or hooked to battery that can supply power.|

Trying to fix horn still... Airbag question
Can I take off the middle steering wheel cover without deploying the air bag..I want to see if the problem with the horn is in the steering wheel.. I see bolts behind the cover...
I know to discconnect the battery for a while..
Has anyone ever taken that off??
