runzoff Once you have the coils on make sure your shocks are long enough or you will destroy them. I think the RE website recommends different shocks for the 3.5 and 4.5.

Well the difference between the two kits (besides the coils) is the 4.5" kit has longer front bump stops, adjustable upper arms front and rear, an adjustable front track bar and longer front disconnect links and a slightly different rear track bar bracket.

Now weather you actually need to change all this stuff over or not is questionable. I would say throw the coils on there and see if it works on your Jeep.

Agree, I hear the re 4.5 springs have a lower spring rate and are more prone to sagging under load (winch/bumpers)

jrussblues Change the springs and adjust your track bars. That's it.

ebp123 I have a sye and cv driveshaft, upper adjustable control arms, etc. On the rubicon express 3.5" SUPERFLEX kit, it says it can be upgraded to a 4.5" lift easily, but it does not say what I need to get to upgrade it. Im wondering what i need to get in order to get the extra 1"..??

AzTJ The 4.5 kit comes with upper arms IIRC. I have the 4.5 kit with 3.5" coils. Much better deal IMO.

rda616 What kit do you have. The basic, or do you have all 8 arms . Do you have a sye with cv drive shaft. Why do you want to go with the taller spring?
