Thanks for all the info. Sadly, my budget is much smaller than my imagination. I've got the list of what I want to do to it, now I just have to find the $$$.

I'm working on a PhD, so my time is usually spent on campus. This obviously limits the amount of weekend excursions I can make. So the truth is, it's going to be a campus cruiser most of the time. Knowing that, I think the list will start off with daily driver/cosmetic items. I've got the Smittybilt gate molle system on order. After that, here's the list in order. Would love comments...
1) Truck-lites
2) GraBars
3) A lift (still researching type/cost/implications in the future)
4) Backup camera
5) Lights (lightbar, spots and/or floods)

I have an apartment and no garage, so even during the summer, I'll keep the hard top on and just remove the freedom panels, so softtops/cargo nets aren't an issue. And I just can't get over the idea of buying new shoes when the ones on there only have 16k miles on them. Also not worried about the hood pooling up since we don't get but a few weeks of < 32 degree weather here.
haha, assuming you read this whole thread, you know how much i love the bird bath in our hoods....

Sorry for the newb questions. I'm a former BMW guy. These jeeps are a different beast.

Thanks,

Jay
no dumb questions exist. just dumb people who choose to not ask questions to enlighten themselves...

as Rouxbicon said, you appear stock hight via the pics, are the rear shocks red, if yes, thats another indication it's stock hight..

as for the exhaust... i bet anything thats stock. but post a pic from below and we can tell ya.

the stock will have a much bigger "tub-like" muffler than this..

Bought used, far as I've looked lights, bumpers and winch are only additions. I have to relocate light bar, it's a sore thumb where it is now.

Congrats, Jay. I've done the following:
2.5" RC lift and dual steering stabilizers
Rancho 9000 shocks
Falken Wild Peak 315/70/17
AntennaX 14" shorty
Teraflex hinge and spare tire carrier
Quadratec spare lug LED brake lights
Cree LED reverse lights, fog lights, dome lights and cargo lights
JW Speaker headlights
20" eyourlife light bar
Rugged Ridge hood and rear corner body armor
Rampage hood locks
Self made grill mod
Champion 8000lb winch
Tuffy conceal carry drawer
Jeep grab handles
might be missing a few other small things...

Powder coated grill insert as well..

I then did the 2.5" AEV lift and Magnaflow cat-back exhaust...

jwilson2598 You can get more than $400 each for them. Look over at the AEV forums, they would usually go for $600-$700 for a front and similar for rear, maybe a smidge less.

Sorry if this double posts but my app just crashed. It's the military star and circle that was used in WW2 on American Jeeps for ease of identification by air support. Usually they were white but I did the green to match the COD badge on the side. It's also the star that's on the Oscar Mike Jeeps.

xavier07047 Does any know what light bar can be added to these tubeless bumper? I don't want to purchase the AEV premium bumper if I don't have too. I also don't want to drill in it either. I saw this one online but not sure what it is. Any help would be great.
