Oh man, this makes perfect sense. I was turning hard right, left wheel went up an incline and pop... This was the first time I had ever disconnected my sway bars too. As much as this sucks, it's a relief to better understand what happened. It feels a lot better not thinking this was just a random failure...

Thanks for mentioning it... Huge relief, although now I need to figure out if I'll replace it with the same thing, or go ahead and buy my first of five for the new tires and wheels... Decisions decisions.

One person suggested Detroit Truetrac. Others I haven't checked out yet are Eaton and many more.

Sounds like selectable would be best, but an auto would probably be ok up front since it would only activate when in 4X.

Stan (Jpi) will be getting me some info.

What have you been looking at?
I've been looking at the same one's. Let me know what you end up picking and I'll do the same.

That is crazy...must be though. Like you said, exact position he was in. I thought someone mentioned that and looked to see if thats what happened before we moved him...

Thats a new one! Didnt get it in the same rock garden but i took that same line that i got the rock rash last time but this time i made it up unscaved. (found the correct line)

Thats crazy. Nevet seen or herd of that happening. And from wat ur saying full flex wheel fully turnd thats the exact position he was in. Stuffing the front driver tire turning full passenger.

don't know....this dude went thru 2 tires. we took the sway bar links off after second tire and borrowed a spare. if u get a lift, rims with more backspacing them probably safe. problem only seems to be on stock jk's the sway bar links rub the tire when they are zipped tied up when you flex and full turn the wheel....POP!
