MoA i agree with chiro on the skid plates.. armor is always a must when wanting to offroad..

as far as replacing the stock fog lights.. i wish i woulda never given mine away.. if you already have some.. get some windshield mounted ones and keep the stock ones on the bumper

chiro2736 I would go with 2 front fog lights as well! The factory lights suck! On a personal note I would replace the worn fenders with new ones, If your going offroading in hills or rocks put a new gas tank skid plate on before off roading, it will save you some money in the long run! Protect those vulnerable parts, before you risk it!!! Then move to the lift and tires!!!

But this is all an opinion... Jeeps are built not bought!!! So your build will be particular to you!!!
Remember to have fun!!!

I've heard very good reviews of the 3" Rustys kit. its 460

you can also add the "+ package"for another 150 that includes a 1" mml and 1" bl for the total of 4" of lift which will be great to run 33s

Do it right the first time man, saves you money later. I'm currently in the process of trying to return my RC lift kit because of many problems.
heh i knew you'd explain your shift linkage.. thats y i didnt =p

and trip.. didn't people warn you about how bad the RC lifts were??

what problems have you been having? you cant say its the shocks since you replaced them.. are the coils too soft? i hate my procomp coils because they are soft as shit..

like i said.. i wouldnt recommend anything above 1'' except the jks bl.. which is only 1.25''

i run the jks one with a mml and i have no problem what so even with any linkage. i didnt even need the linkage bracket for my tc because i did the mml.. i have an auto tho

i was against them too.. but a 1'' bl isnt easily noticeable.. also its a benefit because most tummy tucks require a bl as well as a sye.. the bl grew on me.. and now its one of the first things id do if i got a new jeep.. the mml helps with driveline angles and the bl a cheap 1'' of extra tire clearance..

MoA if your wanting to lift it.. id start off with a jks 1.25'' bl with 1'' mml.. (fit 32s with proper bumpstops)

if you want 33s just add a 2'' bb on top of the bl.. (i recommend a Rubicon Express bb with RE monotube shocks)

3.25'' of lift for around 450.. (a lot of people run this lift or similar lift)

also if you dont already have fog lights.. 2 on the bumper and get some windshield mounts and put 2 on them too..

it'll look pretty nice
