I posted this in another thread:
We were still here at school and all buttoned up tight and we ended up not releasing kids until the storms cleared out. We had one funnel bounce around town (Mesquite), but never touch down. Thank God too as it would have hit near our sitter's house.
A lot of the teachers I work with live to the east where a good amount of damage was done, but they got mostly hail damage and very little actual tornado damage.. Thankfully nobody in DFW was killed and so far only a few minor injuries.
On a happier note, I was driving home from supper with my wife and daughter last night and was looking for prospective mud holes to drive through...that ideas was "frowned upon" by my much better half.

|texastechguy210||OMG I wouldn't have known!! Until this morning when my old college friends told me about it!! Glad to hear people didn't get to badly hurt! Apparently they stretched Tornado Valley, so instead of south plains all the way up to north Dakota, IT STRETCHES EASTWARD!|

|ryanmalzac1||Thanks Guys, luckily the tornadoes missed my house and more importantly my jeep but it passed right by my work and got some hail and water damage to my baby. Hopefully no one else around here had anything too bad happen to them, it was a crazy day yesterday|

Same here. Prayers all the way from Los Angeles. Thankfully there's no fatalities reported and 12 injuries, hopefully non life-threatening. Be safe out there.

Prayers with Dallas area
My thoughts and prayers are with those in the Dallas area as the pieces are put back together after the horrific weather yesterday.
