All I had to furnish was the bolt, nut and washers. Fortunately I'm a pack rat when it comes to spare hardware so I had something on hand. The mirror is adjustable for the proper angle. There is some vibration at highway speeds. I am wondering if rubber washers will help with that. Others on this forum use motorcycle mirrors which look pretty cool too.

When will jeep stop mounting the mirrors on the doors!
Thank you for the information!

Mine always seal perfectly when I put them back on. I don't think you have anything to worry about. It's not nearly as risky as the windshield drop

geocash Pull doors and took top off for Calico trip. Love the experience but I think I will be blowing dust out for the next year. Yahoooo.

DaK Yeah, took the Jeep topless to pick my daughter up at a school event. When I pulled up she rolled her eyes. By the time we had her gear loaded up and she listened to all the boys jeering, she had a grin on her face.

Next day she asked, "Can I take the Jeep to school?"

My response, "NO! When girls drive Jeeps, jeeps become boy magnets."

She just grinned and walked away.

Yup. I had about 7 years between the Jeep I have now and my last one when I was stationed in Georgia. Can't wait to drive around here and get beat up by the wind and noise!

I have had my regrets with the amp because I did have to sacrafise being able to carry anything larger than what I can fit on the back seat
