busemans yup. i did this /\

cost me nothing since i had the adapter already and you can use the weber parts for the accelerator adapter. gained 3mpg using the mc over the weber and holley

Beachcruiser Lots of people have had good luck w/ him....others had problems. Overall, he seems to take care of his customers.

OR......you can do it yourself for under 100 bucks w/ basic hand tools & decent mechanical skills. The adapter is widely available for 15 bucks, ditto w/ a 9" air cleaner. You can get those carbs off Ebay for under 50.....or your local junkyard for less, probably. Plus a rebuild kit and some good carb cleaner & you're set. The 'hardest' part is making a little strip of metal to extend the carb throttle arm so it works /w the downpull Jeep cable you already have. There are a couple of decent write ups on the process out there that a quick google should turn up.

busemans Thw guy from colorado is great. He is a member on another jeep forum i am on and he is always helpful when it comes to mc carbs

On jeepz, his name is gronk.

I have a mc2100 from a 65 mustang with the 1.14 venturis and 47 jets. It works pretty good

roostersansone What about this guy on eBay that say he will put the right jets in and whatever you need - adapters w/e

Beachcruiser Yep. Get one (1.08 venturi, stamped on side of bowl) from a late 70's 302 truck if you can, they will have the spring-dampened float that works best offroad. Mine runs 47 jets (stock).

The MC2100/2150 jetted to 1.08 are the best carbs for your money. They can even be set up for off road use.

busemans no, its just a crap carb. its not really made by weber, just by a company that weber let make it and use their name. its a piece of junk. i had one and would rather use the carter then that 34 again. when i had to put it back on because of repairs to my normal holley, it felt like i was driving with a one barrel carb and a 4 cylinder engine.

Nubby55 may be your jets are too small, or the acc pump is not working.

Weber 34 dgec or mc 2150/ 2100???

I have a 1990 Jeep Wrangler 4.2 I-6 with a Weber 34 DEGC and my secondaries aren't getting enough gas they bog out when I try to take off after a red light or going up a hill. Its such a pain and I look crazy trying to get up a hill.

Does anyone have this problem?
Any info will help!!
