s14sh3r You should be able to run 31's with plenty of room. It would be hard to say with anything bigger without knowing exactly how much lift it has.

If you have a tape measure handy, you can measure the springs and that would tell us more about how much lift it has. Stock springs are 12 inches installed height for the front, 8 inches for the rear.

Measure from the spring pad where the bottom of the spring sits, to the very top of the spring. If possible, get a picture of the top of the spring and we can tell for sure if it has spring spacers on it.

s14sh3r Comparing your tires to your rims, I come up with approximately 28 inches in diameter. Those are stock or close to stock tires.

TnDz TJ That's not stock..... take a shot of the front and rear coils.... post them up... if those are 30-31" tires, you have at least 2-3" of lift maybe 4. I cannot see a bodylift, so that's ruled out.

With the amount of clearance, and not knowing the tire size, thats just a guess....

CONGRATS!!! Nice lookin Sport!

EDIT: Nice catch TJDAVE on the drop kit... missed that....

TJDave ^ There it is!
From what I can tell from that pic...Looks like you have at least a 3"-4" lift.
The transfer case drop tells me you still have the slip type output shaft on your transfer case. (no SYE)
Also does not look like you have any kind of body lift.

Can't tell what kind of control arms, shocks, or the shape the bushings are in. Worn out bushings could easily make a thud like that.

Stock Suspension??!?!?!

I just recently bought a 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sport. The jeep sits up higher then other stock jeeps, I was wondering if this is a stock suspension " for a sport" or after market..

When i drive it down the road average speed is 45-50 mph when I hit a hole or uneven roads its a THUD sound.I am coming from a 2008 Dodge Ram big horn so the ride is definitley diffrent and i am aware of this..

Any ideas? Are the shocks worn out or is this just the ride? Either way im in love with my new ride..
