Kernal Clink As much as I would love to go ride when there are rovers around, I have other plans for that weekend. I WILL however get my 30 dollars worth from URE this year.

Comac90 ugh! I hate that Uwharrie Red Clay! You're right, though, it separates out the good drivers from the bad.

Any inkling I used to have to wheel that stuff was 'ground' out of me, though, when I moved to Colorado several years ago and started rockcrawling. It was great ... go wheel technical stuff and you don't have to wash your rig after (just touch up the rock rash ).

That said, now that I'm back in NC, I hit Uwharrie regularly, but try to go only if its reasonably dry. I really, really do hate mud ...

But, I'll be there next weekend (wknd after Easter) for the, eh hem, Land Rover Rally ... and, yes, attending in the JK.

Casotakar1229 I wish! I'll be moving to va this may (I currently live in tx) and I often travel to NC for myrtle beach from va. I may have to make a trip once I get there...

that mud looks terrible lol...for cleaning at least.

and yea, I figured the trucks weren't what they cracked up to be and as always, I figure it really does come down to the driver most of the time. I know I couldn't handle a 4x4 yet, no matter how beast it is...gotta get going on those trails!

Just a few from early in the day. I got a video of me in the mud hole but I haven't gotten it uploaded yet. I hope there are more forum members around next time.
