BV Jeep I just called the ranger district in vail about that. The main gate is currently closed just for maintenence. The Homestake reservoir will be closed below the dam due to a rebuild. All the rest will be open all year. The camping along the sides of the road will not be a problem. If you guys need more information the FS number is 970-827-5715

Mile_High_JK Homestake reservoir is closed for the next couple years. At first I heard that public access was denied just below the damn. But this morning I heard that the ENTIRE Homestake campground is closed at the first bridge! This means no access to Holy Cross!!

Has anyone else heard this?!?

wanderlust looks as if we will be shooting for late july on this run. Seems everyone needs a little "work" before we go tear things up here.

No clue when or where. Totally depends on how long it will take to do the shocks.

G-Rocc The sign says lockers so I'd say better safe than sorry. I'd also check out some videos to see the trail. It looks pretty gnarly and I can't wait.

Sold some golf clubs off so I'm $220 closer to my pre-cross mod list!

brendend so are lockers needed for this? right now im leaning towards the r.e 4.5 super flex and some cosmetic stuff from p.s but if lockers are needed ill do that a little sooner then planned.
