|wilrokon||Shoot, I just finished using Rustoleum bed lliner on my wheels...(1st jeep) never thought about the white lettering. I think I like black on black all the way. Now I will have to have them turned around. ha|

|Red Headed Coonazz||Attachment 111501I know my Jeep still has the mall crawl look with the white letters and all the chrome but thats what was on it when I bought it. Even in the seventies I went black out. When these Toyos wear out I'm going black on black.|

It really depends on the Jeep and what you like. I like white letters, sorry, these are still blue.

....except the Jeep.
I made that mistake with the first set of tires I bought for it. It is hard enough to keep them clean and white on a rig that spends it's life on the road.
Look! White letters, chrome, and bushwackers!
White letters on Moab wheels. I used for a couple winters when it was a DD.

|Duma||I like both looks but prefer white letters turned inside. X2 on the lettering getting scraped off when wheeling. White letters out always reminded me of a 70's muscle car look.|

|TJGARMA03||I went black sidewall with my new tires and now I wish I had went whites. Will be flipping them next tire rotation. It's all in what you like and what you think looks good.|

|opcocrg||Since 1997, every tire I've put on my vehicles (two trucks, 1 blazer, 3 jeeps) all had the white letters turned inside. I decided to make a change and the set I just put on a few weeks ago got the white letters turned out.......I like it! It's a nice change for me. I could care less if they get dirty or scraped up.........|

Momma always told me, "Don't play in the dirt wearing a white shirt."
I like the looks of the white letters, especially when the wheels are black. But, I would never run them out on a Jeep. Unless it rarely ever goes off road.
The letters will get beat up and look like crap. You also have to constantly scrub them so they are nice and white, or they will also look like crap.

|M2Jamison||TnDz, nice Jeep! I think I'm leaning towards the black on black. Can I put a 31 x 10.50 x 15 on the stock spare holder on the back or do I need to modify it?|

|TJMadness||Yeah I think all black would look boss. Nice jeep!|

White Letters / Black on Black?
I'm getting my new 31 x 10.50 x 15 Goodyear Wrangler DuraTracs put on tomorrow morning and I wanted to get people's opinion. I have black rims and the current tires have the white lettering showing. I was thinking of having the new DuraTracs mounted without the lettering showing. Here is an old pic with the old tires and without my new bumper.
