Re-Wired A/C What do you folks think?
Try number three. I wired the A/C by taking the thermostat request wire from the evaporator and connected it to one side of the high/low pressure switch. The other side of the high/low pressure switch I connected to the compressor. That's it. When the thermostat calls for air, the wire goes hot and the compressor turns on. It's run though the high/low pressure switch so I guess I'm good for safety. Do you folks see anything really wrong with this setup? It works.

A/C Almost Done but Voltage Drops
I'm almost finished with my '95 YJ A/C kit install. Everything's in and the system is charged. When the system calls for air and the voltage goes high to the compressor, it jumps to 12V for about three seconds and then drops to zero. I tried jumping the low/high pressure switch but I get the same result. If I run a hot wire directly from the battery to the compressor, it cools the system just fine. Does anyone have a clue what I should troubleshoot?
