Ehhh...in clay? Yeah, I could see that. The mud up here doesn't have the same glue-like consistency you guys got (I lived in Birmingham awhile).

And the lugs on the KM2 do seem kinda close together. Maybe post something in the Alabama section...see what some of the locals say.

rugbydude9 i have heard that the KM2 have their lugs too closely together and dont self clean very well and tend to cake up. At least around here. Any thoughts or opinions on how it does with that?

kbwwolf I've heard good things about both the Toyo Open Country MT's and the BFG KM2's. Don't know about sizing and such...

I do know that DTD here on the forum doesn't sell the Toyos.

dustinwilcoxson I have a set if MT baja claw 35/12.50/17 and i love thrm so far im in oklahoma and they do just fine here

Need advise on new MT

I am wanting to get a new set of MT 33X12.5X15. I have the RK 2.5" flex and am wanting something that will get through mud easily. I deal with a lot of clay and soft mud as i am down in the south in Alabama. What are the best MT tires that are recommended for self cleaning and gripping in mud?
