dogsnhorses As a civilian, I appreciate your service and all the sacrifices made by you and your families, no matter what position you are in. I feel bad when any of our service people loose their life.

I was NCOIC of the medical section of an MP unit... So babysitting is tops on my resume!

My opinion is this... There are NO unimportant jobs in the Armed Forces of the United States of America. And yes, we are ALL expendable! Just as our forefathers were who paid the ultimate sacrifice to provide us with the freedom to set here and poke fun of MP's and Infantry!
Yeah, I know what you mean. His world's all bright and shiny now, but the first Infantry Drill to crawl up his ass will straighten him out.

Half-right......FACE!!!!
Front leaning rest position..........MOVE!!!!

Too bad he doesn't have to endure an Infantry OSUT.

YJ, it's alright to be proud of your MOS. The Army needs MPs. We all have a job to do. You might not want to be too over-vocal about your disdain for us grunts, though. Remember, there's always someone tougher than you. And odds are he's Infantry.

You're biting off more than you can chew. Do you really want to post something like that on a public forum? My MOS is 11B, with an ASI of B4. Do you know what an ASI is? And do you know what B4 is? Try a school like sniper school and tell me an idiot grunt can make it through something like that. Also, we Infantry idiots drill everyday on BJJ.......do you? We hit the range every week. Do you? I can hit an orange from 1000m with a Barrett .50 sniper rifle....can you? We're trained in extensive ground fighting techniques, knife fighting, not to mention escape and evasion techniques. Writing tickets to fellow soldiers isn't the only thing you do, and we kindergarten grunts know that. Never will you hear me post anything negative about someone else's MOS. We all work together. You do your thing on post, I do my thing from the top of a mountain through a scope.

Oh, my GT score is 136........not too bad for a kindergarten grunt, huh?

Another meaning for the word "Jeep"

So, I'm talking to one of the Sergeants at the recruiting station about Jeeps (he drives an '01 TJ) and he tells me that in the Army, JEEP also stands for "Junior Enlisted Expendable Personnel"

Basically, the new recruits that can be replaced if they die
