|dustin||maybe an exhaust leak... they will make noise that sounds like ticking, then when the motor gets hot the gasket expands and quits leaking. just a suggestion!|

|jpdocdave||engine oil flush works well, just buy the junk at the parts store, put it in and run it for 5 mins, then change oil. let oil drip for as long as you can. lucas also works well, but for that new of a jeep i don't think you should have to do anything else|

|solo97tj||i worked at a Chrysler dealer as a service advisor ans i would cover it under 7/70 do you have a lot of mods? if you do they may be dicks and not cover it|

|parrot head||Try some marvel mystery oil next time you change the oil. If it is a stuck lifter the mystery oil should un stick it.|

2005 Lifter(?) tick
From a cold engine, I get a tick (lifter?) untill the temp is just about normal.
Oil pressure is normal
Oil level good
I changed the oil, used a BOSCH filter, GTX high milage, Lucas oil additive, no change.
Got any ideas?
anyone know it this might be covered by the Jeep 7/70?
