parrot head Check for vacuum leaks. When you let off the gas the mainifold vacuum will increase, and amplify any vacuum noises.

sflip09 The belt is brand new and was changed after the high pitched sound began. I brought it Jeep and they a hole in my radiator was spraying on my belt was causing the sound. Their idiots. I did get a new radiator for free though.

High pitched sound

I have a high pitched sound coming from under my hood. The first 10-20 minutes I drive from a cold start is when I hear it and only when I let my foot off the gas. When I accelerate the sound goes away. I thought it might me a ground but when I roll down my window the sound is even louder. It's coming from my hood but I can't find the cause.
