Just clicked on the link I posted earlier, and it won't route there for some reason. Search for 'Trek Armor' in Wrangler Forum, and you'll see what I was talking about.

jdalehite I bought these covers earlier this month and returned them the next day. I loved the idea of the pockets on the back of the seat, and they looked great in the ads/on the box, but IMHO the seats just didn't fit well at all in the front. The pair I got were also stitched pretty poorly (may depend on the batch). I own a lot of Smittybilt products, but I would not reccommend these to anyone based on my experience.

Your right, they don't cover the whole seat, just most of it.
The rear one don't matter much for me. I only put it back in the jeep when 2 of my grandkids came to visit.
The GEAR bags are different for each. The biggest bag came with the rear seat cover and holds my 20' jumper cables.

The seat covers went on pretty easy. But the clip on the ends of the cord liked to pop off. I used black Zip ties and it worked great. It was a pain to put the ties in, but it's doable.

I also got the read seat cover. But it didn't fit at first. I had to cut a hole for the seat belts and then head rests. They pop off easy.
I also had to extend the rear straps using a cammo colored purse handle. I added a 17" strip to each. The "Purse" is now added to the mix of GEAR bags.
If you have any old Web gear, it fits great.
Thanks so much for the response and for the pics! I think i'm going to go ahead and pull the trigger on some black ones for my TJ. Cant wait!

I spent the summer of 81 at the navy base in Orlando. Those 4pm storms were fun. LoL
I think it would hold up OK for a couple of years. But send an EMail to smitty and ask if the covers have UV protection.

They are more of an impregnated canvas.
Kind of an old time Army tent feel to them.
They hold up well so far, but I just installed them about a month ago.
I only had a couple of 80 degree days to run topless.

Are they decent quality? Looking for something that will last and that has pockets similar to what these offer to carry various odds and ends.

Any input helps

Thanks!
