Was talking about this with a couple buddies.....could make a cover that rides about 1.25 inches above the speaker grill....quick attach/detach.

a buddy of mine has a Cherokee with the engine fan and dual electric fans on his radiator. And for hood vents I'd spend the extra money and do the gen right or poison spider hood vent

2nd this rack. Picked mine up off craigslist for $100 and it's awesome. The rack comes with three different posts to extend for different size spares. Will fit up to a 12.5 inch wide tire.

mechanic [QUOTE=ptoncannon;11523610]This is the link to the ones I found. I'm unsure of how these will be, due to the very low price for 4 of them! What brand are yours? Does anyone else have these? Just don't want to pay for some piece of crap! Haha

i think these are slightly better;

Crthomas98 I used the Allen sports or something like that bike carrier, it mounts to your spare tire, you only have to take the cover off if you have one. It was about 50 dollars for the base level and then the other one was around 100. Only used it once while camping and towing a sail boat and it worked pretty well

Pucknutz69 Thule makes a rack that mount on the spare tire. Take tire off, place mount, put tire on, the rack holds 2 bikes and you can take it on and off without removing the tire. I have one and it works great.

snokat I'm thinking of removing the plastic rock shield from the bumper, tired of reconnecting it every time I get 'unstuck' from the Everglades.
SOP I would think for us swampers here in SoFlo.

Just hook up some lights to the running dashboard lights. Should be rather easy.
