|Joe Dirt||Your Jeep has a 42RLE automatic transmission. It was new for the 2003 year. It's longer than the older automatic and you need to make sure you get a shorter shaft to adjust for it. I got my from Advanced Adapters. They make a kit that includes all parts (CV shaft and SYE) and have strong customer service. Just tell them what you have and they can figure it out. You can then get rid of your drop kit and get your ground clearance back. Good luck.|

|whitebuffalo||once the SYE is installed, you can drive in front wheel drive temporarily until you get your shaft.|

|Ripcord||Ah so could I install the lift and the SYE and the jeep still be operational. I was under the impression that if I get a SYE then I have to get a CV driveshaft for it to work is this correct?|

|whitebuffalo||put the SYE on, then measure from the center of the yoke on your pinion to the center of the yoke on the Tcase. do it post lift installation.|

Got CV Driveshafts?
Ok so I decided to go ahead and get a SYE and CV driveshaft with the lift I bought. But when I was looking at the cv driveshafts I noticed that there are tons of diff lengths. How do I determine what length I need. There is about 10 diff sizes.
