Pinging is on my nerves
Had vehicle checked out at service center and they said it was minimal. Once warmed up this is true, but for those first 3 minutes, it is annoying. I only put regular gas (87 octane) in it. I put my ear to it this morning and it sounded like it was coming from the top where the injectors are at, especially the one closest to the transmission.
Maybe it is normal, but it doesn't sound normal.

New to forum with 2004 Jeep Sahara
Great forum with a lot of answers! I have a 2004 Jeep Sahara with a problem I have noticed for the past weeks. When I first crank my Jeep, the engine runs perfect and then after about 30 seconds, the engine starts to "ping" or click......it continues for about a minute and once warm, it starts to go away. Once going on the road, it seems to stay away. Lifters, valves....is there a fix for it?
THanks for the help!
