Red Eye Wrangler
93 yj 4.0 ax15

I pulled the transmission, replaced the clutch and throwout bearing/slave cylinder. Got every thing back together and bled the slave cylinder. Only to find out the master cylinder that had been working flawlessly decided to die. A trip to O'Reilly's for a new clutch master cylinder. $34.00 later I now have an aluminum master cylinder instead of the plastic pos. All back together, bled and working perfectly. 10 hours start to finish, including completely cleaned up, floor dry swept up and all tools put away.
May seem long to some, but for my first ever transmission removal and only having help putting the transmission back, I don't think it's too bad.

johnsonken1332 Washed the turd first time this season. No major issues yet. Launched some railroad tracks yesterday..I know everyone thinks on purpose. No. Landed on 4. Pretty gnarly. Jeeps don't belong airborne. ;/

I have a cross tube between the rollbar at the front and some custom mounts specifically for the CB (previous owner did that) so that's what I mounted to. The top comes off just fine but yes, i will need to make some kinda cover for it or just take it off real quick if I get caught in the rain with the top down. It comes off in like 20 seconds

Pittsburghwrangler Today I painted my door panels black to match my previously painted dash. And I finally put on the paracord goodies I made a month ago.

Kane21d I fixed my 4wd light. Thought the vacuum fork had gone bad. Nope; just a bad bulb. I love my Jeep; works like a champ and heals itself I swear.

It will be a little smoother than the rest but it looks better than a big rip like that

Jeer42 Had some more time today to get some details done with my assistant Roscoe. Don't have money for any real mods so I just have to see what I got and do something with it.

Had some black paint and clear in the shed so I painted the rusty hitch and ball, painted the horn button, changed the drivers side shock bushing again, mounted a flashlight onto the passenger side seat bracket, and added a bicycle seat post reflector for no good reason at all.

Jeer42 Did a few things today. Had a piece of carpet left over from my VW that fit exactly in the rear cargo area of the Jeep so I put it on, I also polished the chrome on all the seat belts with 0000 steel wool.

Was missing the Wrangler sticker on the driver's side so I used a Smittybilt sticker I had laying around in it's place, had my Mom sew up a small tear in the driver's seat, the only tear in the original seats. I also bedlined the cover just behind the front bumper that says Jeep.

Lol! I love the tires, very happy with them overall, I'm going to switch all my shocks out next month to the Walker Evans w reservoir, yours rides ok with 18 psi?

darcong On my first long(er) trip in my Jeep, my on board air coil connection came loose and fell in love with the positive battery post... Ended up switching in my other battery... Thank God for a dual setup as I was a good hour drive away from home. Never seen a battery melt a terminal in half and melt it right to battery housing, well, now ya have lol
