Ibuildembig actually the single hole is better most of the time because it won't get clogged up

Xpress An air intake alone will yield slightly better throttle response, but HP increases are generally small, less than 5hp. Nothing notable. Not sure about injector upgrades for the 4.0, but for the 2.5L a popular upgrade is Ford 19lb injectors which have 4 nozzles instead of 1.

upgraded air intake?

I drive a 92 YJ 4.0, everything about the performance aspect is stock as could be. I was told by a guy who owns a 2.5 ltr that if you chuck the air box and replace it with a short ram air intake your mileage and power increases. He also mentioned multi hole injectors too, don't know anything about that. Just a few questions about all this. Is there really much benefit to new air intake, can I do it cheaply cause from what ive seen online, 250$ for a short ram is way out of the question. And what would I need for a DIY project. If it seems simple enough, ill do it and post pics at each step. Thanks.
