|89 strangler||My father was held up at gun point in the city on a job.He was just backing in his parking spot(paralell park)and a guy walked up to him and stuck a .38 in his face and said "good afternoon sir" and then demanded money. My dad went to give him his wallet and the guy said,i don't want your wallet ,just the money.so my dad gave him the only 20 bucks that was in it.He thought my dad had money(ha was in a nice suit).Well the guy flipped out and started ranting because it was "only 20 bucks".Well in that time my father realized that he had his car in "drive" still because he was getting ready to straighten the wheels and pull up to park so he just punched the gas..Well all you heard was thump, bump, bumpity, bump aaaahhhh ohhh ahhh.My dad said it was like running over a big speed bump.He said he then turned around after he got up to the light and came back to rum his sorry #$% over. But he must have slithered away.Hardest 20 bucks that sucker ever made.So just remember, once in a while the good guys get a lick in.|

That sucks Tiny.
And it's a burglary, not a robbery.
Burglary = someone breaking into your property and stealing stuff
Robbery = someone sticking a gun in your face and stealing your stuff.

|ct-tj||+1 for Tuffy, ive got the center radio console and the glove box. The only thing I worry about is my tools and my emergency/med kit. I leave her with the doors unlocked and a cover on her to discourage people. Its worked so far, but If I hear breaking glass theyll have a 77gr JHP for dinner.|

|rthdtj||I woke up to this awhile back, kinda hurts. I know it had to be kids. I had never parked the Jeep like this before & it was during some school break. Cop said he was sorry it took so long to respond to my call, that they had a rash of vandalizum calls that morning. Yippy.|

The doors can be replaced when done the blood just washes out with a hose. So just don't F with my stuff.

wow good thing they didn't take anything
set up a camera over your jeep
or just get a gun

That blows. At least you know who did it. I'd set something up for them to come back. Butt holes like that always return.... Then you can go all Ninja on their asses.
Make sure you get your story straight for the cops before they show up. The double standard for self protection is in your favor....besides, it will be like training again for you.

how did you find out it was him? did he throw the stuff away in his own trashcan?
the only thing ive ever had stolen out of my jeep was my wallet.. and i think it was a friend from school who i gave a ride home and i kept my wallet under my seat..i think he stole it when i was at a gas station and went inside to get a drink.. i only had 3 bucks in it.. but he got a nice columbia wallet
lets just say i went and kicked his @$$ later in the week.. =p

Fantastically they didn't break a thing. They took my garage remote and my owners manual. Both of which they threw away in a nearby trash can. I have on my cloth doors so they just got in. My glove box and center console were both emptied onto my passenger seat.
There was a couple of knives, a nice maglight, and my CB but they didn't take anything. Not sure what the point of it was other than to irritate me. Lucky I didn't catch them.

Yup... With all the tools and the arsenal of cutlery in her Jeep... All I can say is the little (expletive deleted but it meant his parents weren't married) must have been either really drunk, really stoned, or just plain stupid!
And I'm really proud of the level of restraint which Tiny displayed. Although, it would have been a lot of fun watching her take his prepubescent man card and rip it into itty-bitty pieces in front of him!

|4point||Glad you got your stuff back. Did they break anything expensive? Hope not.|

No longer a Robbery Virgin....
Yep. My jeep was broken into last night. With all the crap going on right now that was just the big sour ass cherry on the top of my lopsided cake.
On a lighter note.... there was nothing to steal, I found everything that they decided to take and throw away, and we knew who did it so when we left the place this morning I told the kid he'd missed the $300 in tools in the back. Sorry about his luck.
