MoA yep.. i already planned on pulling the front ds.. my d44 has been sitting in my garage for about 2 and a half weeks now =p just havent had time to install it.. i powerwashed it today.. havent gotten around to repainting it.. but i did pick up all the diff fluid that i'll need..

im gonna go ahead and install the d44.. ill leave my jeep in the garage until the riddler diff comes so i can fill it up with the fluid, i dont feel like wasting about 12 bucks for only a weekend of driving..

i ordered everything today, the gears for the hp d30 and the covers.. the gears will be at the guy whos doing the gear change on tuesday.. so i plan on the covers coming around then.. i hope the diff covers dont take more than a week to get here.. even if the d30 cover is on back order the axle isnt read to go in yet

TennJeep1618 I'm kind of in the same boat. I've got a 44 that has been sitting in my apartment for about a month but it's finally going in next week. I bought the 30 and 44 combo set of Riddlers and they seem really beefy. The 30 was backordered, but I got it today. So i'm not running them yet, but will be very shortly.

Is your D44 3.73 gears? If so I don't see any problem putting it in before you get the hp30 w/ 3.73's, but you won't be able to use 4wd. In fact, if you go ahead and put the 44 in, I'd pull the front driveshaft just to make sure you don't tear anything up. Just my $.02.

i was thinking of ordering a set for a d44 and d30.. i decided against getting 4.56 gears because when the time comes i know ill be going full width..

plus id rather spend 500 to get a hp dana 30 with 3.73 gears. than spending 1300 to get the hp d30 plus regearing it and my d44 to 4.56s

my question is how well are these products? i watched the video on the rokmen website and they seem stronger than shit.. and a lifetime warranty.. you cant beat that.. ne body run them?

i figured if i dont have a problem running 33s on 3.07s, 3.73s will be more than i need.. and i can go ahead and install the d44 and drive it until i get the d30.. i just think its time my baby gets some time outside to stretch her legs and play
