daddyjeep ALL OF THEM. That of course depends where you live. I ripped all of them off of my 87YJ without any problems until I moved in to a county that did emissions testing. Looking back I wish I had swapped in a SB Chevy instead of dumping a bunch of money in my 4.2. Swapping in a V8 is a big project that will effect every party of your drive train. Make sure it is siomething you need before you tear into it.

4.2 shot, what emissions can I get rid of

I recently bought a 90 with a 4.2 knocking to beat hell, I am going to replace it with another 4.2. I want to know how many of these darn emissions lines can go. Just wondering, how hard are the mods to install a chevy engine in this thing? Appreciate your help. Looking forward being a part of the jeep club.
