|cozeinlb||If it is Master Cylinder leaking you will likely not see the leak under the hood. Look inside on firewall and see if fluid is running down from where pedal linkage goes through the firewall.|

|kik||Usually when that happens you need a new clutch due to wear. Your slave cylinder could also be allowing fluid to come through, without an external leak. The same for the Internal Control Unit. If you have to replace the clutch get a clutch kit that includes the clutch, pressure plate, bearing and control unit. You most likely need a new slave cylinder. It's a bit expensive but you might want to consider a new line from the slave to the control unit. A lot of times they'll break. When you bleed it use a pressure bleeder and do it forward and reverse and do it a few times. These systems are notorious for holding air which will cause grinding going into first or reverse.|

Any leaky from the clutch MC or SC (which may be hard to see... think that's an internal slave cylender model). Could require replacement of either/both.
I just replaced both on my '95 YJ (4.0, AX-15)... seemed to have a bad internal spring/seals. Was developing lots of slack in the pedal after in-city traffic driving, clutching. Eliminated the problem, replacement firmed up everything.

Need help with Clutch Problem
I have a 90 YJ with the 4.2 6cyl.the clutch pedal goes right to the floor to disengage & engages about 1" off the floor. shifts good up & down . can't find a way to ajust the travel. anyone have any suggestions???
