ArcsnSparks Replaced Distributor cap, rotor and plug wires. Fixed a small vacuum leak. Continuing the unending process of trying to rub out my oxidized paint so the old girl can shine. Building a hard top hoist.

RawhideClab Took the hard top off and went for a drive, MAN I love my jeep more now than ever!! Tomorrow I have to figure out how to instal the soft top :-|.
While driving it around something under the good started squealing. Thought at first it was my alternator (needed to replace anyways volt regulator was all over the place). Got the new alternator in and fired if up and it went to squealing again. Look around and the idler/tensioner pulley ain't spinning at all. So off to o-riley's again to find the right bearing. I have the current pulley soaking in sea foam penetrating oil over night so hopefully the old bearing will just pop out......I'm not holding my breath.

Thanks. Yea we had trouble with the top two. W has to push it really hard to get it over this metal piece that raised. Once we aligned it with the top he bottoms lined up perfect. We also had tp undo the shackles and pry the leaf down to fit the socket we bought. Yours looks awesome also.

RawhideClab Replaced the radiator. I keep hearing how easy it is to work on a YJ, and I have to say I agree. Even with a fan shroud drop it was not bad at all. (The jeep has a 2" body lift)
Next job on the list is a new alternator, then the A/C system......

Had to replace it because the inlet had a small crack, probably could have welded it back up but I'm pretty sure it's the factory radiator so better safe than sorry.

YJ Chica Installed d-rings and trimmed the fenders. A much better look I think. Especially more clearance.

DylanRhodes45 Productive day. Installed a new cowl seal, painted my bumper cover & caps, and the dash piece I just got from eBay. Also, my signal booster for the radio came in. No more static on local stations! Plus I'm getting a new paint job Monday. 👍
