|computeruser||I'd just buy another OEM one and throw a few extra coats of paint on it before I bolted it up.|

|jefferyfghezzi||I tried to find an aluminum and couldn't. They seem to all be the same. Mine wasn't leaking so I removed it scraped it and treated it with rust bullet. Whatever you buy I would treat it before you install it.|

Rusted and leaking Oil Pan / Sump
Need a bit of advice here,
I notice that my Jeep's (2005 Wrangler 4.0L) Oil pan / sump is very rusted, and the oil is actually starts to seep through.. I tried to very gently see if I can brush some of the rust away to paint it, as a temporary fix, but this actually cause more oil seeping through
I need to get a replacement Oil pan, but while at it, looking for something decent and stronger, that will last a while, and not rust so easily
Jeep dealers is charging around $250..
But found a few places that is cheaper..
Quadratec .. Does any one know if this is any good
Original Replacement Parts 53020831 - Replacement Oil Pan for Jeep® 4,6,8 Cylinder Engines - Quadratec
Getting cheaper.. but how good is SPECTRA vs OMIX vs Crown

Any advice on a replacement as well as where to buy would be great..
