Update as of Saturday (April 28th). The staging area and lower portion of 311 trail are snow free. Once you try and get from the top of lower 311 to the campground it is snow all the way back to the forest service road which itself is deep almost all the way back down.
I actually learned a lot about driving in snow, recovery, etc. and had a great time with a good group. Most people were from JK-Forum and you can jump over there and check out more pictures others have posted.
Looking forward to spending a lot of time out there as things melt out, if anyone if thinking of heading up there and wants some company let me know!

Agreed. It's all about the timing though. Wait too late and you'll need to have a mask over your nose and mouth to beat back the dust.

|NorthwestTJ||I saw that too, looks like theres still a bunch of snow. I'm not gonna head out there till it starts to melt a lot.|

Evan's Creek trail status
Some of the folks over on JK-Forum went up and tried to clear the trail on a night run....
It sounded like the place is still covered in deep snow. I won't cross link, you have to be a member over there to read any links on the Northwest forum.
