907farmer It turns out my hinge bracket that mounts the top to the frame is not so "u shaped" anymore. Thus allowing the air leak. And not allowing it to close tight. I cut a piece of 1inch long tubing and the sliced it down the middle and stuck that around the mount hole on the frame. All is tight, no rattling or air leak/ water leak. I'll be replacing the hinge bracket soon.

ALjeep It's possible that your rubber seals may be crimped over somewhere causing a looser fit. I would take your hardtop back off and carefully look at all mating surfaces as the parts come together, it may require a 3rd person. Not speaking from experience but thinking out loud

2003 hard top mounting

Ok, I took the top off and doors and had a blast in the warm 50 degree sun. Now my hard top latches are loose. I reinstalled my hard top and closed the latches before bolting it down, and the installed the 6 bolts. Now they rattle like a sob. And it's really annoying. It's there away to tighten them or move them up on the bolts? Thanks in advance. Oh ya the top is the stock hard top.
